On the 13th of December, 2023,  our partner, Infraplan Consulting, joined the international conference on Shaping Green Airport and Smart Cities hosted by the OLGA project in Zagreb, Croatia. In this conference, Irina Stipanovic, CEO of InfraPlan Consulting and ASHVIN demo site research leader, gave a keynote speech about the ASHVIN project’s demonstration findings from ASHVIN Demo Site #3 “Airport runway in Zagreb, Croatia”. Moreover, OLGA is an important EU-funded project gathering 41 partners and 17 third parties, coordinated by Aéroports de Paris, for five years with a total budget of 34M€ contributing to the European plan for aviation decarbonisation.

In her presentation, Irina Stipanovic, walked the audience through the objectives of the ASVHIN digital twin system to support and enhance the maintenance of infrastructure assets by collecting infrastructure data and analysing it with the ASHVIN toolkit. The ASHVIN research the demo site #3 has focused on developing two digital tools (namely GISI and RISA) for the ASHVIN digital twin toolkit helping to conduct early damage detection and early risk assessment at the infrastructure assets. 

In total, 150 participants, such as city representatives, policymakers, academia as well as environmental and mobility experts, gathered in this event.
