ASHVIN Will Deploy the BuildingSMART Use Cases

On 11th of November 2022, FASADA, ASHVIN partner leading the Demonstration site implementation hosted an internal workshop for the ASHVIN demonstration site managers and the ASHVIN toolbox developers. The goal is to introduce the usage of the BuildingSmart Use Cases (↗️) into the ASHVIN project helping to showcase the usability and the usefulness of the ASHVIN system.

The BuildingSMART is the worldwide industry body driving the digital transformation of the built asset industry. It offers a model for international standardised use cases (following ISO 29481-1:2016).

The Building Smart Use Cases will be drafted by the technical developers of each ASHVIN tool with support from the TUB team who is dedicated to this task. These will detail notably the used data type, the aimed usage moment, and the target stakeholders.

Partners will work on defining a dedicated use case for each of the 10 ASHVIN tools, and these will be used to disseminate the results of the ASHVIN toolbox and platform implementation. The published use cases will be shared on the BuildingSMART Use Case Database, and we will showcase the benefits for using these use cases.
