This “Interoperable digital twin business and decision-making processes” report was drafted as part of Task 6.4 Lean life-cycle process mapping led by Plan B under Work Package 6 Social innovation, and standardization. ASHVIN WP6 focused on determining future trajectories of ASHVIN-developed innovations, including standardization triggering standards to be applied by the market in connection with deploying new innovative privacy-focused practices within the industry.
Abstract
This deliverable summarises the results of Task 6.4 Lean life-cycle process mapping. The purpose of this document is to present formalised process maps for the ASHVIN-developed tools of 4DV-C, DES, CMT, and SMT, all concerning the construction phase of construction projects; specific focus was put on decision-making routines concerning productivity, resource efficiency, and safety. The work was conducted in close collaboration with work conducted in WP4 concerning the four tools and their application at demonstration sites, as well as WP1 with its interoperability and ontology framework. The business process decision-making process models were developed with interoperability to the ASHVIN platform and interconnectivity in mind. Further, the integration of Lean Construction methodology was integrated into the process models. The process model mapping languages of BPMN and IDEF0 were used to map out the processes to provide standardised notation language, enabling the adaption of the ASHVIN tool process within multiple markets.
